As i tweeted earlier this week i am on a weight loss and fitness mission – so far i have been losing weight quite easily with just dieting but now i have decided it’s time to up the anti a little bit and get my butt into gear.

I have been doing a bit of research on which exercise regime to do and came across the Chalean Extreme circuit training DVD set – (bought from Amazon £29.99) You receive 6 DVDs’s a muscle burns fat guide book and a recipe guide book.

My all time favourite perfume has to be this one, the scent is just beautiful, the bottle is a gorgeous pink glass bottle i definitely recommend this one to anybody!

There are simple ways to get this right with the key thing being ‘dont pluck too much’ for me over plucked and incredibly thin brows do not do your face any justice.

Okay onto my tips to get your eyebrows perfect for you:

Follow your natural shape:

Theres no use in trying to change the shape of your eyebrows, if you have naturally thick brows keep them that way the upkeep and maintenance of plucking them too thin will be a nightmare.

Dont Rush

Getting eyebrows completely symetrical on each side is difficult almost impossible, each brow will have a slight difference, get a good pair of tweezers sit down with a decent mirror and lighting and gradually pluck the desired amount away ensuring you check continuously dont get carried away over pluck and you cant go back, you can always take more off if you need to but you cant put them back if you go too far.

Fill in any gaps

After you have got your perfect shape invest in a good brow powder (i prefer powder to pencil) a good angled brush and fill in any gaps that are there naturally, you dont want to be drawing them on just simply filling in.

Brows should never start too far apart, a simple way to see where they should start from is to simply get a pencil, brush or something long and thin, place the brush at the side of your nose and hold it up straight towards your brows, wherever the brush lies this is where they should start.

If you struggle or think that plucking is too scary to attempt yourself why not try getting them waxed at a salon once and then try to maintain the shape the therapist gives you, this will be a much easier way for first time pluckers as you will already have the shape and thickness to go off, you will simply just need to pluck away the stray hairs that grow back.

Plucking is a daily job, i pluck mine every day to ensure there are no strays that have grown back even if i leave it for one day i can see a huge difference and they look messy. It does take time a practice to get your brows perfect but persevere and you will not regret it.

As you can see I am a fan of the full brows compared to thin brows, in my opinion they are much prettier and frame your face much better.

I’m going to hold my hands up here and say i am no saint when it comes to hair colouring, i have spent years home dying, bleaching, back to dark then not liking it so bleaching again, i never used to use a heat protector when styling and blow drying so erm yes i have put my hair through torture some might say.

It was when i decided i wanted long hair that i started to look into looking after your hair that i relaised i was doing all the wrong things and changed my ways with my hair, now i do still home dye my hair but only when it desperately needs it (i used to do it every 2-3 weeks regardless) I started using heat protectors, hair masks/oils, etc and my hair looked amazing silky shiny and soft.

Over the past few weeks my hair has gone through a growth spurt and also a frizz stage, i would go to bed brush my hair apply a leave in serum and wake up with major frizz on the ends. Even after washing it and using conditioner i would still see frizzy ends after i had blow dried it, this was beginning to drive me crazy, i hadnt had frizzy hair since i was in school and the later in the day it got the worse my hair got!

I decided to look at the products i was using and suddenly realised i was using a leave in moisture spray instead of a heat protector!

I quickly headed to asda and picked up the Aussie Heat Defence (my favourite) and started using that instead. To help my poor hair i also tried to not blow dry my hair every day and let it dry naturally.

One week later im back to my healthy shiny hair again.

It just goes to show the tiniest thing missing in your hair routine can impact the health of your hair hugely!

My tips for healthy looking hair:

• When conditioning try not to use too much product as this can be tough to rinse thoroughly and cause a greasy resedue on your hair leaving it limp and lifeless after blow drying
• ALWAYS use a heat protector spray when using any hot tools, hair dryer, straighteners, curling tongs etc the heat on these tools can seriously damage your hair
• If you have time try to leave your hair to air dry i use a leave in moisture srpay when i do this to help keep it soft and shiny
• Use a deep nourishing mask once a week
• if your hair is in diar need of help apply a night serum like the ‘Loreal Elvive Re-Nutrition night serum’ its a weightless formula and can be applied to dry hair
• The same applies with using products as it does conditioner use too much and you could get a build up on your hair that normal shampoo wont remove if this happens you can get a clarifying shampoo that lifts any product build up (boots do a good own brand one)

Thats my advice for healthy hair, regular salon trips for a trim also help to rid of any splt ends.

I have been using it now for about 4 weeks and thought now is the time to give my view on this mascara.

What do Loreal say about this mascara:

My thoughts:

Sleek packaging – the mascara comes in a sleek silver tube with angled edges this will look pretty in your make up bag.

The wand is a perfect size for me just the right length to hold and is comfortable when held too, this brings us onto the brush, i love the brush it is a tapered end enabling you to get right into those tiny lashes on the inner corner the size is perfect not skinny not too big making it easier to grab each and every lash from the root.

In the weeks i have been trying this mascara i havent had any horrible clumping it glides on easily and really does give a lenghthened look to the lashes, in my opinion you could easily get away with one coat (I always prefer 2 coats) it doesnt feel heavy on the lashes and i havent had any problems with hard lashes by the end of the day.

I bought this the first time round when it was on offer in Boots for £7.99 usual price £10.99 I will most deffinately repurchase this time and time again it has easily replaced my MAC Zoom lash! this is on offer again at the minute for £7.99 so hop over to your local boots and give it a try.

My favourite way to use this must have product is when i have a tan, obviously when you get a nice tan your foundation ends up too light my simple solution to this – I mix it with my usual foundation and end up with a subtle glow and no cakey make up.

I have found the best way to apply is to take a small amount of foundation on my fingertips and dot it on my face then i take my flat top kabuki brush from Crown brushes, swirl in the bronzer then apply on my face like i would with foundation, this then blends everything together and voila one simple easy look.

This has been my routine for the past few weeks now and i love it!
